Luck of the Irish? More like luck of the stylish! Good things come to those who dress well, so don’t just reach for any old green piece in your closet this St. Patrick’s Day. Instead, put in the extra effort to find something super chic and holiday appropriate. Sure, green isn’t always the easiest color to style, but when done right, it can be an amazing statement hue. It all starts with the right shade for you—go deep with a strong hunter, bright with a bold chartreuse, or more muted with a subdued olive. All greens are welcome (you can even mix and match your greens!). To help jumpstart our style ideas, we turned to one of the bloggers behind Fountain of 30, Lauren Waters. She has dedicated her anti-aging lifestyle and fashion blog to women over 40 who feel 30. Not only is she an extraordinarily talented blogger, but she’s also a dedicated wife and mother of two boys. Lauren hooked us up with some looks for St. Patrick’s Day, featuring her personal green faves from the cabi Spring 2019 Collection, and we can’t wait to share her picks with you. Take a look at how she styled the outfits below!
I’m not a classic green kind of gal. I love khaki/army green and will wear it any chance I can. So, when I saw this chic Expedition Jacket, I knew I could make an outfit based around it. I was drawn to the shoulder details, three-quarter sleeves, and the double-breasted closure. I’m in jeans a good 75% of my life, so the Cropped High Straight was a no-brainer for me. I love how they fit, and they show just the right amount of ankle (one of my best features). Gray goes with everything, so the Center Tee was the perfect neutral top, and I pulled the whole look together with the Safari Belt and the gold Cha-Cha Charm Necklace and Earrings set. It’s the kind of outfit I would wear for St. Patrick’s Day and any day of spring for that matter.

When I saw the Bronco Blouse, I KNEW I had to have it! It’s so unlike me, which is why I was drawn to it. I normally go light on colors and patterns, but threw caution to the wind with this shirt. I just love it. It has just enough vibrant green…making it perfect, yet unexpected, for St. Patrick’s Day. I knew it would be the focal point of my outfit, and I should keep the rest rather simple. So, I paired the blouse with the white Slim Boyfriend and the Safari Belt (which I now realize goes with everything). I picked the Marigold Mules because the exact same hue is in the blouse and makes it pop. You can never go wrong with rose gold jewelry, which is why I opted for the Lock & Key set—it’s understated and warms my skin tone.
