Jenna Pilant is an interior decorator with a specialization in upholstery art. She basically makes clothing for your furniture…no wonder she has a strong sense of style! Jenna runs the design and style blog Lucky Little Mustardseed where you can find funky, vibrant inspiration for both your home and your wardrobe.
Jenna’s eclectic style is influenced by artists such as Andy Warhol and Stacey Bendet, as well as vintage fads from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s. She describes her sense of style as a rainbow, pulling from the full spectrum of colors for each outfit. She believes any and every color is fair game when it comes to building an outfit—so long as you style it right, any two colors can go together. Over the years, she’s acquired 15 sets of prescription glasses in all different colors and styles. If you’re a glasses gal, use ’em to boost your style like Jenna does! Frames are the perfect statement accessory piece, which is why she has one for every occasion. Like most of us, Jenna uses fashion to express herself, and when she wears the perfect outfit, she feels like she can take on the world.
Jenna marches to the beat of her own drum, and as she tells it, her style has only become more and more quirky over the years, and we think that’s simply fabulous. With every passing year, we get to know ourselves better—our goals, our desires, and our wants and needs. Being comfortable in your skin and being unafraid to fully express your unique perspective of the world is a beautiful journey that can only be appreciated over time. Jenna’s quirky sense of style? It’s hers, she owns it, and we love that.
You may recognize Jenna from our blog. We’ve collaborated with her many times in the past and featured her work on here. We always turn to her for trendy, innovative styling ideas we know we can’t find anywhere else. That’s why we invited Jenna to participate in our Fall 2019 Campaign and to model for cabi in our Fashion Show at The Scoop in Nashville this July. Our Fall 2019 Campaign is all about showcasing individuality and reveling in our differences. She brought her pizzazz to the runway, walking alongside the many diverse women who helped rock the new Collection on stage. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for our blog posts highlighting the other amazing women that made up our Fall 2019 Campaign, and in the meantime, check out this video of Jenna!
