We know we’re still in the midst of warm fall weather, but we all know winter is coming. And all of us fashionistas here at cabi couldn’t be more excited. When it comes to styling, it’s quite possibly our favorite time of year (layers, anyone?). Just think of all the incredible accessories: scarves, hats, gloves, and knee-high-boots, to name a few. As the weather begins to cool down, you can slowly start to layer on more pieces and swap out your accessories for warmer ones.
We’ve been spending our time preparing and brainstorming ideas for how to transition your looks from warmer to colder days. We created six fall-to-winter outfits using two base pieces, the Birdwatcher Top and Sinatra Skirt. To help us envision these looks, we collaborated with two Stylists, Margo Rodriguez and Mara Riddle. Check out the video to discover their styling tips and to see them model the final looks. We’re ready for you, Winter.

We’ve got transitional dressing down to a science. The Fall 2020 Collection has so many versatile pieces that can be worn in a range of temperatures. So go ahead and start wearing your favorite pieces now, then simply begin to layer as the weather drops. Now it’s your turn: try a version of this style experiment for yourselves at home. Pick one fall piece and style three looks that gradually get more winter-appropriate. Post all three outfits to Instagram #WinterisComing and tag us @cabiclothing. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
