Program Rules: Cabi Spring 2025 Hostess Benefits & Rewards

Overview

The Spring 2025 Hostess Benefits & Rewards Program (“Program”) offers exclusive rewards to eligible individuals who host cabi Fashion Experiences (“Hosts” or “Hostesses”) during the Spring 2025 season. The Program includes three components:
1. Hostess Benefits
2. Hostess VIPerks
3. Monthly Hostess Sweepstakes

By participating in the Program, you agree to these Program Rules and the decisions of cabi, which are final and binding. Detailed Official Rules for each Monthly Hostess Sweepstakes will be published alongside each sweepstakes.  Cabi may, in its sole discretion, change these Program Rules, available Rewards and special offers at any time with or without notice.

Your participation in the Program is nontransferable and is subject to present and future program rules. Participation in the Program is also governed by our  website Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”), our Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) and any sweepstakes official rules (“Official Rules”). In case of a conflict between the Terms, Privacy Policy, Official Rules and/or these Terms & Conditions as it relates to the Program, these Terms & Conditions shall govern.

1. Hostess Benefits

Hostess Benefits are available to all Hostesses throughout the Spring 2025 season and reward Hostesses based on the sales achieved at their Fashion Experience. These benefits include discounts, credits, and exclusive opportunities.

Timing

Hostess Benefits are available for all qualifying shows held and closed between January 16, 2025, and June 30, 2025.

Eligibility

Hostess Benefits (“Benefits”) are available to all Hostesses and Co-Hostesses with qualifying Fashion Experiences in the United States (U.S.), Canada (CAN), and the United Kingdom (U.K.). A qualifying show is one with a minimum of $250 USD (£200 GBP) in Commissionable Volume (CV) from Guest Orders.

Rewards

Hostess Benefits are earned based on Commissionable Volume (CV) from Guest Orders at a Fashion Experience and include the following rewards:

Unlimited Earning Potential:

  • For every $250 (£200) over $1,000 (£800) in total sales, you’ll receive another item at 50% off.
  • For every $500 (£400) over $1,000 (£800) in total sales, you’ll receive $15 (£12) in cabi Credits, which can add up to free items.

Jewelry Benefit: Hostesses and Co-Hostesses can each earn one jewelry item at 50% off for every show with a minimum of $250 (£200) CV. Jewelry rewards must be redeemed at the time of the show.

Benefit Banking: Hostesses may save unused 50% off items for use later in the season. These benefits expire on June 30, 2025, and cannot be carried into future seasons.

Restrictions

  • Orders from Hostesses, Co-Hostesses, and Referrers do not count toward total CV for qualifying sales.
  • Benefits must be redeemed at the time of the show unless otherwise noted.

2. Hostess VIPerks

Hostess VIPerks provide additional seasonal rewards based on sales achieved at qualifying Fashion Experiences during the specified eligibility period.

Timing

  • Eligibility Period: Shows must be closed between January 16, 2025, and March 31, 2025 to earn Hostess VIPerks.
  • Redemption Period: Rewards earned must be redeemed between February 1, 2025, and July 31, 2025.

Eligibility

Available to all Hostesses and Co-Hostesses in the U.S., Canada, and U.K.

Qualifying guest order sales thresholds exclude orders from Hostesses, Co-Hostesses, and Referrers.

3. Hostess Monthly Sweepstakes

Monthly Hostess Sweepstakes offer prizes to eligible Hostesses who hold and close qualifying shows within the specified months.

Timing

  • One sweepstakes will be held each calendar month from February through June 2025.
  • Hostesses may hold and close a qualifying show during each corresponding month to be automatically entered into the then-current sweepstakes.

Eligibility

  • Open to U.S. and Canadian residents only, who are least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (additional eligibility restrictions will be included in the Official Rules for each sweepstakes).
  • Limited to:
    • Debut Hostesses hosting a Fashion Experience for the first time.
    • Encore Hostesses in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th season of hosting

Official Rules

  • All sweepstakes will be subject to separate Official Rules pertaining to each sweepstakes. Detailed Official Rules for each monthly sweepstakes, including prize details and approximate retail values and additional eligibility restrictions, will be published at the time each sweepstakes launches. Please refer to each individual sweepstakes Official Rules for more information.

4. General Conditions

  • Modification Rights: cabi reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, including any benefits, rewards, or eligibility criteria, at any time without notice.
  • If cabi improperly denies a member Rewards or some other benefit of the Program, the member’s exclusive remedy shall be the issuance of the improperly denied Reward or benefit, if available, or such other alternative comparable benefit as determined by cabi, which shall have no additional liability whatsoever. In no event shall cabi be liable to any Hostess, or anyone claiming through a Hostess, for any direct, indirect or consequential damages, or lost revenue or profits, arising out of cabi’s acts or omissions in connection with the Program.
  • Tax Responsibility: All prizes and rewards are subject to applicable federal, state, provincial/territorial and local tax laws. Recipients are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes associated with their rewards. For US residents only: Should any individual receive prizes and/or rewards totaling $600 or more during a calendar year, such individual will receive an IRS form 1099 for the total actual retail value of all prizes and/or rewards received.
  • California Notice of Financial Incentive: The Program provides discounts, rewards, and other benefits in exchange for hosting cabi Fashion Experiences. Under California law, this may be considered a “financial incentive” program. The value of your personal information to cabi is reasonably related to the value of the rewards and benefits provided, less the cost of administering the Program. Participation is voluntary.   • Limitations of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, cabi is not responsible for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from participation in the Program or the use or misuse of any rewards. By participating in the Program, Hostesses agree to release and hold harmless cabi and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and the employees, officers and directors of each of the foregoing from any and all liability for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including without limitation, death and bodily injury, resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of any Reward, participation in the Program or any Program-related activities.  The sole remedy for any lost or stolen Reward is solely replacement, subject to availability.
  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions or the Program will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. These Terms & Conditions will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
  • Force Majeure: cabi is not responsible for delays or failures in performance due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances.

Official Rules: cabi "Take the Journey" Sweepstakes

Official Rules: “Take the Journey” cabi Hostess Sweepstakes (the “Campaign”)

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Eligibility: This Campaign is open only to those who act as a ‘Hostess’ of a cabi ‘Show’ closed from January 17, 2025, through February 28, 2025, and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and the age of majority in their state/province/territory of residence (21 in Mississippi, 19 in Alabama and Nebraska and the following provinces/territories British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, and Yukon, and 18 in all other states/provinces/territories)as of the date of entry. A qualifying ‘Hostess’ must host a cabi Show (in-person or virtual). Hostess eligibility is further defined as:

  • Debut Hostess: A first-time hostess, new to cabi.
  • Encore Hostess: A repeat hostess in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th season of hosting.

Additionally, the Campaign is only open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec). The Campaign is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial/territorial and local laws and regulations and is void in Quebec and where prohibited by law.

A ‘Hostess’ is defined as someone supporting their Stylist by inviting their contacts (or allowing the Stylist to invite those contacts) to attend a ‘cabi Fashion Experience’ as part of a ‘Show’ (which takes place in any private in-person or virtual location), thereby expanding and/or engaging the Stylist’s shopping audience.

A qualifying ‘Show’ is defined as a ‘Hostess’ product order plus at least two unique guest product orders, with the total full-price product sales minimally at $250 USD.

One ‘Co-Hostess’ per ‘Show’ is eligible for entry, in the case where the ‘Show’ order value accomplishes total full-price product sales minimally at $500 USD.

A ‘cabi Fashion Experience’ is an occasion where a cabi Stylist presents the Fall 2024 cabi Collection (either in person or virtually) and guests can see and/or touch and/or try on the Collection with friends, family, and acquaintances while the Stylist offers personal styling.

Employees, directors and officers of cabi, LLC, its Stylists, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers (collectively, the ‘Employees’), as well as immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of ‘Employees’ are not eligible to participate in the Campaign.

2. Agreement to Rules: By participating in the Campaign, the Contestant (‘You’) agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Rules, and ‘You’ represent and warrant that ‘You’ meet the eligibility requirements.

In addition, ‘You’ agree to accept the decisions of cabi, LLC as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Campaign.

3. Campaign Period: The Campaign takes place from Saturday, January 17, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) through Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PT (the “Campaign Period”). All entries must be received no later than February 28, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PT.

4. How to Enter: The Campaign may be entered by one of the following two options:

  • Host a qualifying cabi Show (in-person or virtual) that is closed between January 17, 2025, and February 28, 2025 to automatically receive one (1) entry into the random draw. Qualifying date for entries will be the ‘Show’ ‘closed date’ rather than the date the ‘Show’ took place in person or virtually. The ‘closed date’ is the date at which no further orders can be added to the ‘Show.’ If you wish to host a qualifying cabi Show during the qualifying time period and do not want to be automatically entered into the Campaign, send an email to contactus@cabiexperience.com with “Take the Journey Contest: DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE” as the subject and cabi, LLC will remove any entry you would have otherwise been eligible to earn in this Campaign.
  • Alternate Method of Entry: Mail a postcard with first class postage affixed to the attention of cabi Hostess Sweepstakes, 21750 Arnold Center Road, Carson, CA 90810. The postcard must clearly state ‘Entry to cabi Hostess Monthly Sweepstakes – February 2025’ and must include the first and last name, address, and telephone number of the person entering. The postcard must be postmarked no later than February 28, 2025, and received within 5-7 days.

The entry must fulfill all Campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of cabi, LLC. You may enter only once regardless of method of entry. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses or other automated entry methods in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of cabi, LLC.

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:

On March 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific in Long Beach, CA, the potential prize winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received in accordance with the deadlines stated herein.  The potential prize winners will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail, using contact information provided or collected at the time of entry.  cabi, LLC shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason.  NOTE: Canadian residents must first correctly answer without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill testing question prior to receiving a prize.  If, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours of the first notification attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit their prize and an alternate winner may be selected.  cabi, LLC, in its sole discretion, will attempt to contact up to three (3) potential winners of a prize in accordance with the above procedure, after which the prize in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed.  If any potential prize winner is found to be ineligible, or if they have not complied with these Rules or decline the prize for any reason prior to award, such potential prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected.  The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

6. Prize: The following prizes are available to be awarded to the winner:

Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize is available consisting of one (1) prepaid hotel accommodations certificate for two (2)  travelers at the winner’s choice out of six (6) destinations; and two (2) single-use $500 USD air travel vouchers (totaling $1000 USD). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $3,000 USD.

Grand Prize Fulfillment:

The winner will receive a Platinum Flex Trip Collection Certificate provided by Gift a Trip. The certificate includes the following:

a Choice of one (1) of the following accommodations options (based on single room, double occupancy) (Total Certificate Value: $2,000 USD):

  • Royal Caribbean 3/4 Night Cruise to Baja – Balcony Stateroom.
  • Celebrity Cruises 3/4 Night Caribbean Cruise – Oceanview Stateroom.
  • Paradisus Los Cabos, Mexico “All Inclusive,” “Adults Only” Resort – 3-night stay, Junior Suite Garden View.
  • Unico 20 87 Hotel Riviera Maya, Mexico “All Inclusive,” “Adults Only” Resort – 3-night stay, Partial Oceanview Room.
  • Paradisus Grand Cana, Dominican Republic, “All Inclusive,” family-oriented resort – 3-night stay, Standard Suite.
  • Omni Orlando Champions Gate Resort – 2-Night Stay, Deluxe Room, includes $500 USD Golf or Spa Credit.

Two (2) $500 USD Air Vouchers (Total Value: $1,000 USD), redeemable via a single online portal for any major airline. Airline Vouchers are single-use and valid for 3 years from the date of issuance.

Grand Prize Redemption Process:

  • The winner will have 60 days to contact Gift a Trip to confirm their destination of choice from the options listed above.
  • Once the destination is selected, Gift a Trip will email the winner a digital travel certificate containing detailed redemption instructions.
  • When the winner is ready to book, they will contact a dedicated booking concierge for their selected destination to finalize travel plans.  Booking is subject to availability.

Terms of Use for Travel Certificate and Air Vouchers:

  • Certificates include accommodations, taxes, fees, and gratuities for the length of stay.
  • Certificates are non-refundable but transferrable and may be upgraded at the winner’s expense.
  • Blackout Dates: While minimal, travel certificates are subject to blackout dates at the property’s discretion. Any applicable blackout dates will be clearly indicated in the terms and conditions for the certificate. Winners are responsible for reviewing and adhering to these terms.
  • Flexible expiration date: 1 or 2 years from issuance (soft expiration before converting to future credit).
  • Air vouchers are redeemable for a single use only.

Additional terms and conditions may apply to the use of the Travel Certificate and Air Vouchers.  For more information, visit www.cabionline.com/sweepstakes-accommodations/.  All costs and expenses not included in the Grand Prize description are the sole responsibility of the winner including but not limited to ground transportation to/from winner’s residence and departure airport, baggage fees, shore excursions, travel insurance, laundry service, spa treatments, alcoholic and specialty non-alcoholic beverages (including specialty coffee), merchandise and souvenirs, and tips and gratuities. cabi, LLC will not be responsible if weather conditions or other factors beyond cabi, LLC’s reasonable control prevent the Grand Prize or part of the Grand Prize from being fulfilled, and winner will not be entitled to compensation in lieu thereof.  Winner and guest must have no restrictions on their ability to travel or to fully participate in the prize or the prize may be forfeited, in whole or in part and may, at Cabi, LLC’s discretion, be awarded to an alternate entrant. Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documentation and permissions and must travel on the same itinerary. cabi, LLC will not be responsible if winner or guest are denied entry onto aircraft.  In such a situation, the winner/guest will be responsible for any and all additional costs incurred. Winner/guest must obey all hotel rules and requirements, including any hotel requirement to present a major credit card. Failure to follow such hotel rules and requirements may result in, without limitation non-admission to or ejection from hotel and forfeiture of all or part of the Grand Prize. Guest will be required to sign and return Prize Claim Documents.

Additional Prizes: Twenty (20) $100 USD Sephora gift card prizes are available.  Gift cards may be subject to separate terms and conditions imposed by issuer.

7. GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS:

No cash alternative or prize substitutions will be allowed, except cabi, LLC reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of comparable value if a prize listed is unavailable for any reason. Prize winners shall be solely responsible for all federal, state, provincial/territorial and/or local taxes, and the reporting consequences thereof, and for any other fees or costs associated with the applicable prize.  Prize winners are not entitled to monetary difference between actual prize value and stated approximate retail value, if any. Cabi, LLC will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Any potential prize winner must execute and return a Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where imposing such condition is legal) a Publicity Release (collectively, “Prize Claim Documents”).  If winner fails or refuses to sign and return all Prize Claim Documents within five (5) days of prize notification (or a shorter time if required by exigencies), winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. 

cabi, LLC makes no warranties, and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any prize furnished by third parties in connection with the Campaign.  WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, SUCH PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND CABI, LLC HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. GENERAL:

Acceptance of a prize constitutes prize winner’s permission for cabi, LLC and its designees to use prize winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements and address (city and state/province/territory) for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation.  Entrants agree that cabi, LLC, its Stylists, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and each of their employees, officers and directors (collectively, the “Released Parties”) (A) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Campaign or any Campaign-related activity, or from entrants’ acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, and (B) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose.  The Released Parties are not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, late, lost, damaged, or stolen entries or prize notifications; or for lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet service providers, websites, or other connections; or for miscommunications, failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions; or for any technical malfunctions, failures, difficulties or other errors of any kind or nature; or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information.  cabi, LLC reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and cabi, LLC reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.  No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software-generated or other automated multiple entries will be accepted.  cabi, LLC reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Campaign if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Campaign is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other causes beyond cabi, LLC’s control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Campaign as contemplated herein. In the event cabi, LLC is prevented from awarding prizes or continuing with the Campaign as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, cabi, LLC shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Campaign.  If the Campaign is terminated before the designated end date, cabi, LLC will (if possible) select winners in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination.  Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances.  These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued by a duly authorized representative of cabi, LLC.  The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Campaign-related materials, including but not limited to point of sale, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control.

All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations associated with cabi, LLC and/or the Campaign, are owned by cabi, LLC or its licensors. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

9. GOVERNING LAW: ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR CABI, LLC IN CONNECTION WITH THE CAMPAIGN SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE’S LAWS.

10. Privacy Policy: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the cabi, LLC website. By entering this contest, each entrant expressly consents to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information provided to cabi, LLC for the purpose of administering the Campaign and as described in the Privacy Policy. 11. WINNER’S LIST: Any legally required winner’s list may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: “Take the Journey” cabi Hostess Sweepstakes Winners, 21750 Arnold Center Road, Carson, CA 90810.  All such requests must be received within six (6) weeks after the end of the Campaign Period.  Residents of Canada may omit return postage.
